Dr. Stephanie Juffs - DC
Dr. Stephanie Juffs' chiropractic journey started at the University of Western Ontario where she obtained an Honours Specialization in Kinesiology, with an additional Major in Rehabilitation Sciences. During her time at Western she developed an interest in biomechanics of the human body, and assessment and rehabilitation of injuries. This led her to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic. While studying at CMCC, Dr. Juffs also attended McMaster University to obtain a Certification in Medical Acupuncture.
Dr. Juffs practices a diversified style of chiropractic that incorporates manual therapy, including adjustments and mobilizations, acupuncture, muscle release therapy, education, therapeutic modalities, exercise prescription and rehabilitation programming to care for each patient. She takes a comprehensive, individualized approach with each patient in order to help them reach their health and wellness goals and get them back to optimal functioning.
Dr. Juffs loves to keep active in the winter by playing hockey and skiing, and in the summer enjoys playing tennis, kayaking and water-skiing. She enjoys and sees the benefits of incorporating regular strength training into her weekly routine. You can often find Dr. Juffs providing medical coverage in the community as she enjoys watching athletes compete. She has provided support as a trainer with the Richmond Hill Stars, Aurora Barbarians RFC, Markham Waxers, and has provided game day medical coverage for the Aurora FC and Richmond Hill Soccer Club.
